This family of three, with another on the way wanted to add a lot of square footage to their existing 1910 Bungalow. However, a second floor addition was not an option due to varying circumstances. Clearspan designed a 960 square foot addition by digging deep into their yard and adding a full height basement in addition to the 1st floor bump out. The upstairs is a comfortable, well appointed master suite with a custom walk-in closet, concrete vanity top, shower stall and soaker tub. The basement addition has two bedrooms, a full bath and an oversized set of stairs and hallway to add plenty of natural light to the comfortable living quarters below.
A two car garage was placed in the backyard, with all exterior trim details, including gable vents, matching that of the existing house. As always, overhead power and phone service were replaced with underground and updated services.
