Technically a remodel, this project is filled with new construction techniques and high quality hand stacked framing. The original foundation and sub-floor were greatly enhanced to turn a 1953 Ranch into a 4600 square foot Shingle Style. This ideal location in the North End, helps settle this home into more historic surroundings.
The entire roof system is post and beam with hand stacked rafters. A majority of the upstairs rooms will remain vaulted. There are over a dozen different exterior trim patterns used. Many stacked to enhance fascia and eave details, others modified to create a custom continuous soffit vent. All roofing and siding is untreated cedar shingles.
